The Leprechaun Strikes Again!

We may be in middle school, but we still love the idea of the leprechaun visiting our class and playing tricks on us! 

My favorite moment was when one of the kids who has been in my class for three years now asked me very pointedly why the leprechaun didn't bother to leave cupcakes with green frosting like he usually does. I casually explained that perhaps the leprechaun was exhausted and definitely considered the aforementioned green cupcakes but fell asleep in her his clothes at 7pm the night before. Just speculating...

Anyway, the leprechaun did manage to bring my students cute little green buttons, mint M&Ms and green applesauce. He sprinkled their desks with gold dust and left a poem and some Gaelic music while they were at lunch. 

 The kids were VERY amused!
