Last week our new Lifeskills teacher, Mrs. M., celebrated her 21st birthday. Because no one loves a good party like our classes, we thought we'd have a little bash. Two of my students and one of our general education peers helped me whip up some chocolate chip cookies (we had no eggs, but we were able to substitute with equal parts water/oil and a small amount of baking powder...they were surprisingly tasty!) and everyone signed a birthday banner.
Here's the lovely birthday girl!
Everyone waited patiently to say "Happy birthday, Mrs. M!"
before receiving their cookies.
The cookies were a big hit!
We posed for pictures after our treats (yes, I realize I look like a bobble-head below!).
Clearly the party was a big hit-
we were worn out!
HAPPY FRIDAY!
