March is Disability Awareness Month in Indiana! If it wasn't already pretty obvious, I'm
on a mission to spread the word about the AMAZING things kids and adults
with disabilities can do and the importance of making sure our communities are accessible.
To share information about Disability Awareness Month with the rest of our school, I arranged with my super supportive principal to allow all staff to wear jeans next Friday along with I'm definitely not going to use an acronym here a Disability Awareness Month sticker.
Two of my kiddos spent some time this morning spreading the word by distributing stickers and hanging posters. We also put Disability Awareness Month bookmarks in the library. We're excited to see all of our friends and teachers celebrating Disability Awareness Month!

HAPPY FRIDAY, ALL!
