sNOw SCHOOL FOR US!

While I had originally planned for today to be a Wordless Wednesday, Mother Nature had other things in store... Classes were supposed to resume on Tuesday following a teacher workday on Monday. Instead, over a foot of snow began to fall on Sunday, blanketing almost the entire state. It was a beautiful, wet snow that lended itself to awesome snowmen and even the painstaking creation of an igloo at my house:

 The snow gave way to incredibly cold temperatures (think wind chills of -40) and howling winds prompting the cancellation of both Monday's workday and Tuesday's student day.

The snowfall coupled with below-freezing temperatures caused an incredible mess on local roads. This led to, guess what? Another...

Hopefully we'll be back at school on Friday...if not, the temps are supposed to shoot up into the 40s (with, of course, quite a bit of rain). We'll for sure be back with more adventures next week.
